If you are a Union Leader seeking benefits for your Members, but cannot get a payroll slot from your Employer, then we can help!

Because Union Services offers benefits to Union Members (unless the Local wishes to expand the offering to non-Union employees), we frequently have difficulty obtaining a payroll slot from the Employer. Below highlights the method we use to help Union Members pay their premiums for our Union Benefits.

Our Premiums for Benefits can be paid using any of the following methods:

  1. Payroll deductions - if available
  2. Consolidaed Payroll Slots - If you are already using at least one Payroll Slot for Union Benefits, or even for Union Dues, we can combine multiple benefits into that one slot to deduct a new total amount. These funds are then sent from the Payroll Department to a Licensed, Total Plan Administrator (TPA) who will break out and pay the various Benefit Companies, Union Dues or other benefits and services;
  3. Individually Drafted - from a Bank or Credit Union
  4. Direct Deposits -New! Direct Deposits are becoming more common from many Employers. Most payroll systems using Direct Deposits will allow you more than one financial institution to direct deposit your pay. In other words, you can add the Licence's, Bonded Administrator of your Union Benefits as one of your Payees for Direct Deposit. So you premium payments will come from your pay automatically - just like if they were actually payroll deducted! This works especially well for Union Members at International Paper (who allow up to 4 Payees) and most any other Employer who use Direct Deposits.

    Contact us today at 1(888) 44-UNION to discuss how we can help your Members receive the very best in Union Benefits even without using payroll deduction.
